The Disruptive Foul

First look at Tassie and second look at SEM.

What we saw:

Dash is a Cash Cow. Cash Daniels, albeit without Sobey playing, again showed more than he ever dared to with United last season starting the game with a nice looking 3 ball and some rebounds. He was assertive and is playing with all the confidence in the world. with 64SC across the two games he has far eclkipsed his Break even and if you don't have him he should be an immediate trade target for the price rise alone. Not saying he's starter material but let him marinate on your bench while you look like Jesus turning water in to wine.

Skylar Mays is a BUST! Not saying I was wrong, maybe just not as right as I usually am, but he is a putrid supercoach player. The offence stagnates when he touches it, he looks a step slow and relies on his bulk to bully his way to contested 2s or jacks long range 3s. Despite his 10 assist haul in the preseason vs New Zealand, he looked incapable of setting up his teammates last night. How he scraped his way to 26 was incredible. Exit strategy needed....NOW!

Dakota Mathias: Super Cheap, strarted and played 35minutes. we had Fools Gold concerns but surely given this amount of time he has to do something each week? How does the return of Dmic and Ayre affect these minutes? 14pts, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal for 22SC is solid despite a low points per minute equation appearing. I don't love this as a pick up, especially compared to similar proced guys, but will continue to monitor.

David Johnson is HIM. Give me my flowers, I called this all preseason. At 230K he is a steal. The price was deflated by injury but now coupled with the emergence from behind Bryce Hamilton's shadow the stage is set for him to have a big year. He took over in the third quarter and despite coming off the bench (weird right?) this victory will give him the confidence and give him the confidence of his teammates to put this team on his back. 26 pts, 6 rebounds and 6 assist, it was clear that outside of Taran he is the only other creator. The schedule is putrid, with n o back to back doubles until round 12 but I'm looking to find a way to carry a cheapie like this on my bench if i can generate some early cash.

Taran Armstrong: Tough night, defended well but some how found a way to 30SC with only the 1 assist. This tells me the floor is high with a massive ceiling. Again the schedule isn't amazing but maybe this "down game" keeps his price lower just a little longer.

Ben Gold: The must have $69k rookie did what we needed. No Bannan helped but it might have helped us too giving Roth the confidence the kid can hold his own. Proved he is more than a shooter with 14SC in 25 minutes including 3 blocks.Easily covered his BE. His SC/min is the stat to watch. Would like to see it improve for when he plays a more realistic 12-15mins a night.

Magnay: Looked great. The 6 assists were a nice surprise too. 34SC in 25 minutes was good, especially against a solid lineup of SEM Bigs.
