Sixers v Kings Wrap Up.

Sydney Defence picking up full court, aggressive traps, going to be hard to score against.

We were concerned about the minute spread, Sydney had played 11 guys mid way through the second quarter. Very even minute spread so really needing high points per minute guys if we are to look here. This is the difference between Space Cam and a Darius Days type.

Game of runs, Adelaide would be down 15 then back to 3 then out to 15 and back to 9. Became quite a good game in the end with plenty of lead changes.

Jaylen Adams back to back 3s and a key way floater to open the game. 8pts in first 1 minute twenty seconds. Hit another dagger mid way through to keep it rolling from deep. 25SC at half.

Cam oliver off the bench. Hes solid. 17SC at the half, got it going in the second to finsih with 31. Solid and above BE but hoping bhis minutes increase. Only played 24 off the bench.

Kelli Laupepe Starting. His defence is exceptional which is the glue that this team needs and what will keep him playing minutes. During these minutes he's been efficient and effective. Will accumulate quietly and be a cash cow to a certain low/mid level ceiling. 10SC at half. Finished with the 10 which was slightly disappointing.

Xavier Cooks looked like Angel Reese getting cheap rebounds off his own bad misses. 19 Sc at haf, including a near double double of 11pts 8 rebounds. We called him Fools Gold during the week, now Im not saying I was wrong, just maybe not as right as I normlly am. Big X finsihed with 19 and 13 for 39SC in 28 minutes. Solid.

Kendrick Davis - unable to guard Adams. Struggled against the high trap. Sydney seem easily able to freeze him out. Multiple TO's from just stepping out of bounds. 14SC at thehalf, 5 assists, showed signs of life in the second quarter. Finished above BE with a respectable 29SC. Solid first outing without being spectacular against a quality opposition.

Cadee first Sixer off the bench at 6 min mark of the first, Wells looking for an answer to Davis being so ineffective. Didnt show up in the stats but if the price dropped some more and injurioes happened he could be half a look.

Trez off the bench. Very active. Very productive. Avoided foul trouble, no mean feat for a new import big FYI. 18sc at half including 9 rebounds.

DJ3J. 18SC at half. 33Sc to finish, justifying his big price tag.

Lat Mayan 18SC at half time. This guy is the story. tarted at the 4 which we thought was the go rior to trez signing. After the struggles of Humph today id imagine he keeps starting at the 4 and trez becomes the 5. Mayan big with 34SC and 23 actual pts in 26mins.

Jaylen Galloay didnt make an appearance until mid way through the second quarter. Only 3 mins total for the former 2 way contract holder.

Humph ordinary. is this a sign of traditional bigs struggling against the kings small ball?

Tyler Robertson, as expected, is not a look. Wont get off the pine.

Nick Marshall intriguing still.
